3. Once the engine has been started the transmission oil pump will begin to supply the control valve with hydraulic oil. From Pump Transmission Control valve

9. The oil has now filled all of the open channels in the control valve. Directional Solenoid Transmission Control valve

11. The oil will continue to compress the accumulator fully. Transmission Control valve

14. Once the accumulator is fully compressed, the oil will continue to the next location of least resistance. Transmission Control valve

17. As the oil heads to the torque converter the pressure in the control valve will drop. Transmission Control valve

28. The directional solenoid moves the spool and directs the oil to the reverse clutch pack. Transmission Control valve Directional Solenoid

29. The pressure drops when the oil is sent to the R clutch pack. Transmission Control valve

31. The clutch pack will not be fully engaged until the accumulator has completed its operation. Transmission Control valve

40. This will move the inching spool which will cut off oil supply to the clutch pack. Transmission Control valve

41. The oil will be returned back to tank via the tank port. Transmission Control valve

44. There is no oil pressure in the R clutch pack now. The clutch is disengaged. Transmission Control valve

45. Inching pedal released. Oil will be sent to the clutch pack again. Transmission Control valve

46. Once again the pressure drops when the oil is sent to the R clutch pack. Transmission Control valve

47. The accumulator enters operation. Transmission Control valve
