2 Current Workforce Development Funding in Mass. Just Awarded: USDOL > CommCorp > 5 regions in Mass. In Brockton area region BAWIB is the lead $800,000 for “Clean Energy” About to be Awarded: CommCorp > bidders “Learn at Work” funds for adult learners, workplace education

3 Just Awarded: Mass. Workforce Competitive Trust Fund (WCTF) $3+ million for 16 projects for sector WD in healthcare Recently Awarded: ARRA > Mass. Clean Energy Center > workforce development in clean energy. May still have $ left.

4 Yet to be Awarded Skills Works $10 million over next 5 years MassCAP received a planning grant in “green jobs training” in prep for an Implementation Grant CommCorp to issue RFP this month for WD in any sector. CommCorp soon to issue RFP, $1.3 million, for sector WD in a region’s growing/emerging Sector. Grants up to $200 thousand for skills-gap services in the region. USHHS > CommCorp: soon to issue RFP for total of $250,000 for Community Based Organization (CBO) capacity building.
