Student Assessment Guidelines: Rhythm and Vines is a three day music event held in Gisborne each year. It takes place over the New Year period and attracts a wide range of musicians, bands and concert goers to the region. During this internal assessment you will be analysing the planning and decision making that occurs in order to make this event run. Impacts of the events will be explained and evaluated.

Assessment 90703 Task 1: Outline the nature of this contemporary event. Assessment 90703 Task 2: Explain in detail and evaluate the planning and decision-making involved in the event. Question Resources 2A – What steps are involved in the Planning of R and V? Create a flow chart that outlines the main steps in the event planning process – provide a specific example for each. Resource Consent Application A guide to organising an event R and V Planning Group 2B - What are the potential environmental impacts? Complete an Assessment of the Environmental Effects report that has specific examples (three) of potential impacts on the natural or cultural environment. 2C – How have the RMA requirements been complied with?
