He had an aggressive policy and warred with other nations to increase the size of Mongolia. He eventually conquered China, the Middle East, Russia, and Europe, making his empire the largest in the world.

3. Their Tactics The Mongolians used scare tactics and fear to lower the enemy’s resistance. If a village would not surrender, the would kill everyone in the village. The poured salt on the fields to prevent anything from growing again. Their most favorite attack was to split the army into three group and have two groups distract while the other sneaks around. The also retreated and suddenly came back to confuse the enemy.

4. Their Other Accomplishments The Mongols became the most mobile army in the world due to their skill with horses. They invented the stirrup so that the could stand and shoot behind them when they are riding. They were also entirely self-sufficient. The soldiers carried their own food supply and their low weight armor enabled them to carry more supplies.
