It´s a word that gives information about a noun. A noun is the name of a person, thing or animal.

3. There are three degrees :
Degrees of adjectives

-Positive: The car is fast. (no comparison here)
Comparative: My car is faster than yours.(for comparing two nouns )
-Superlative: My car is the fastest of all (for comparing three or more nouns)

4. -Comparative degree Examples: tall  taller low  lower
-Add the suffix –er to one-syllable adjectives
Examples:
tall  taller
low  lower
smart  smarter
Add the suffix –er to two -syllable adjectives ending with ´y´. But first drop the ´y´, change it to ´i´ and then add –er . Examples:
busy busier
angry angrier
easy easier

5. Use the word ´´more´´ for two or more than two-syllable adjectives
