pH Scale
Objective: To learn about the pH Scale and test some substances for pH

2. Vocabulary
pH Scale: A scale from 0-14 used to classify a substance as acid, base, or neutral.
Acid: A substance with a pH rating of 0-6
Base: A substance with a pH rating of 8-14
Neutral: A substance with a pH rating of exactly 7

3. Project
You will be working in your Science groups and testing Dawn Dish Soap, Milk, Vinegar, Orange Juice, and a mixture of Water and Baking Powder for pH.
Then you will write the pH rating of each of the substances on the worksheet I will give you.
After that we will go over the pH rating you got as a class.
Last we will watch a video on pH
