3 3 Fact File In about 37 AD, the Lord Jesus Christ appears to Saul (Paul) on the road to Damascus. Paul is led blind to Damascus (Acts 9:8). After the visit by Ananias, Paul then goes to Arabia where he spends 3 years and returns to Damascus (Galatians 1:17-18 and Acts 9:22-23). In 40 AD St. Paul departed from Damascus at night, being let down from the city wall in a basket (Acts 9:25 and 2 Corinthians 11:32).

4 4 Fact File Between 41 AD and 44 AD St. Paul met with Barnabas, St. Peter, and St. James in Jerusalem (Acts 9:26 and Galatians 1:18-19). Paul in Caesarea and Tarsus (Acts 9:30) Barnabas gets Paul and they stay in Antioch (Syria) for one year (Acts 11:26).

5 5 First Missionary Journey The first journey begins when St. Paul, Barnabas, and St. Mark set out from Antioch (Acts 13:4). This journey started about 44 AD and ended about 47 AD. (Acts 14:28)

8 8 Fact File In about 50 AD, Paul and Barnabas go to the council in Jerusalem 14 years after Paul's conversion (Galatians 2:1-9 and Acts 15:2). Silas returns to Antioch (Syria) with Barnabas and Paul where they continued some days (Acts 15:35-36), possibly around 50-51 AD.
