Chronological (starting out) Detail of education, qualifications and work experience in reverse chronological order. Electronic Resumés Designed to be entered into a computerised database, read by a scanner and stored in text format. (Europass) Skills-based CV (more professional experience) Focus on a position / job target. Present capabilities in support of that position

First name THEN Surname Home address - Term address (if necessary) Phone Number - Mobile Address - IF you check it regularly Date of Birth (not mandatory) Nationality (not mandatory)

2. The Objective It should be a short, succinct description of the type of position you are currently seeking. A four-week work placement (U.K.) or internship (U.S.)

3. Education and qualifications
Reverse chronological order. Most recent experiences first, back to secondary level education. Include the following: Dates, the name of the institution and town. Relevant modules and information about projects undertaken, and skills developed.
