Harcourt teacher’s manual limited my instruction a little realistic experience of utilizing the teacher’s manual and incorporating interactive activities. Here students are writing words seen in environmental print.

Smart Board to play Aiken Drum vs. CD player. Web-site blocked Students made up own verses to song. Interactive lesson despite technological difficulties.

The class was organized in centers. Five to four students in a center. If students disrupted their car was moved to the yellow for a warning. If the behavior persisted, their car was moved to the red.

Letter Magnets on cookie sheet They LOVED writing on the white boards!! Writing word wall words on note cars with markers ABC Bingo was definitely a fan favorite! *Basically I brought in different art media for children to write with and even though it may have been the same activity they eagerly participated.
