AIDA @ RIBF PID detectors (TOF?) beam movable degrader EURICA degrader veto scintillator AIDA beam stop for EURICA AIDA: - only one DSSD - Signal from beamline detectors to test input of 2 FEE64 cards: + Time-to-amplitude converter (TAC) with TOF information + Logic signal from veto scintillator

Houston, we have a problem: noise when DSSD connected

rates of 100s kHz/FEE64 DAQ pause/resume observed

RI beam on AIDA ( 78 Ni) -AIDA setup mounted and running at F11 area. -Stable operation of AIDA. -Functional online analysis code with event building (beta version). … but unlikely we can observe implant-decay correlations in this data (?). 1GeV range 20MeV range

A look ahead: There is a chance to run experiments in the fall of 2014, to do beta-decay spectroscopy measurements with AIDA+EURICA: 170Dy region, neutron-rich Ca isotopes, 90Se region. RIKEN beamtime for Fall 2014 (if any) will be decided in August. BRIKEN campaign (with BELEN-like neutron detector) expected in 2015. Two proposals submitted to next PAC (end of June). Official to-do list in the hands of Tom… -Resolve noise issues. -Coupling AIDA DAQ with RIBF DAQ. -Frame to fit AIDA with EURICA. -A team of experience AIDA users: RIBF@ $ 5000 per hour!
