1. Teacher’s Instructions Use this powerpoint with the song from Unit 2 of Zap A (tapescript 10). The powerpoint is timed so that if you click each slide as you sing the first word, it will automatically display the words roughly in time to the music. You can use this to do the song acapella while maintaining the timing as children follow the words as they appear on the screen. The children can also describe the house as it appears on each new slide before they sing the verse. Doing the song this way should help children associate sounds and words together and to begin to connect these to build rhythm in English.
