Why this project? Prevents chronic health problems Promotes physical, social and psychosocial development Vital for good health

30% of children in the UK are overweight or obese (BHF, 2012) 35% of children are not getting enough exercise (60minutes of moderate-high intensity activity) (BHF, 2012)

Finally… Is a free play centre a good way to increase children's physical activity? Non structured active play is the highest recorded type of physical activity! (BHF, 2012)

1 st Step What is the topic? Break down search topic into sections Think of key terms to describe topic Use advanced search on database
