So you wanna use email…

No Problem! Setting up your email is simple! Just follow these steps, and you’ll be using your new email account in no time!

Step One: Where do I go? On the Shaftesbury website, click on the Pembina Trails School Division icon.

Then, click where it says “Parent/Student”

Once here, click “Student Webmail Sign-in”

That’ll bring you to a page that looks like this. Enter the username and password that you use to log in to the computers Hit “Sign in”

Here, enter “ptsd2008!” (Except without the quotation marks.)

After you’ve put in that password, fill out the rest of the information on the page Leave the “alternate email address” section blank

If everything’s going according to plan, when you hit enter, you should be brought to a screen like this. (If you get an error message instead, see the library staff) On this page, you can adjust the language and time zone settings We’re in the Central Time Zone (GMT -06:00)

And, you’re in! This is your email account! So, that’s it, right? Wrong. Remember when you entered ptsd2008! as your password? Well, that’s still your password, so you need to change it. I’ll show you how.

First, see where it says “Options”? Click there.

That brings you to a page like this one Once here, click on your name on the top of the page

That makes a page that looks like this pop up in a new window. (If you don’t see it, check the bar on the bottom of your screen for new windows.) Under “Password reset information”, click “Change”

When this pops up, you can change your password from “ptsd2008!” to anything you want. Once you choose a password and hit save, you’re done. Congratulations!!!
