Basic Podcasting - sound capture PC Limitations -ONLY able to do Audio Podcasts - NOT AAC / MPEG4 -No consistent file handling (one MS program does not necessarily talk directly to another) -Sound Quality - limited to 16 bit NOT 24 bit 96 kHz -Often NO Firewire Port - ie. Cannot use Firewire Pre-amps -Drivers needed - all the #@%&**? time -iTunes® operates inconsistently on PCs (How Frustrating !!!!!) -Audacity is just not elegant to use - quite “clumsy” -NO dedicated Podcasting software - you need to cobble programs together - Audacity + LAME+ Photostory + Windows Movie Maker ≠ Garageband Learn Podcasting WS
