1. Hello children, We are the pupils of E1 class of the 3 rd Primary school of Sitia, a town on the eastern part of Crete. Crete is the biggest island of Greece. We’d like to show you our school, our teachers and ourselves.

2. Our school This is the playground where we spend our breaks. The girls usually play “Hide and seek” and “skipping rope”. The girls always play football.

3. Our Assembly Hall In this big room we have gym when the weather is rainy or cold. We also have our school celebrations, theatrical plays and carnival parties.

4. Our library It’s a small room with lots of books for all ages. We borrow books which return in a few days.

5. Our headteacher This is Mr Nikos Ailamakis, our headteacher. He is a very nice person, always helpful and kind.

6. Our teachers These are our teachers: From the left it’s Mrs Toula, our teacher of English, Mrs Iris, our class teacher, Mrs Maria, our teacher of music and Mrs Marina, our teacher of gym.
