One of the easiest ways to integrate spreadsheets into curriculum is using charts. We will explore the 4 main types of charts in Excel: Pie Line Bar Scatter

Open MS Excel and complete the tasks given to create each chart type. Look for ways that you can use charts in your instruction and be prepared to share with group. Save your files for future reference!

Relative Cells are cells whose content will change when a formula or function is copied to other cells. With absolute cells, the content stays the same, even when copied to other cells. Example: Absolute cells are used when a value in a formula needs to remain constant. Formula- C2*D2/C10 Absolute Formula- C2*D2/$D$10 (Which cell is Absolute?)

Simply add “$” to the Cell Address (D10 became $D$10) OR In formula window, go to part that needs to be absolute and hit F4 key.
