Robots can help people trying to test cars or bumper cars by using a touch sensor to detect when the robot is hitting something or a ultrasonic sensor to detect when a object is coming up.

3. What makes it a robot? A robot is a device that can help do jobs that would be considered dangerous too humans. The difference between just regular machines and robots are robots can be controlled or act independently while regular machines have to have someone control it.

4. How is the personal assistant robot a good example? The personal assistant robot uses multiple programs and sensors to help test when a object is getting near, when it hits a object, when a sound is near, and many more ways.
