Embedding the language Use the Italian day of the week classroom signs (on the website) and ask pupils to pick the correct one each day.

Che giorno e`? 1 Pupils should look at the slides, listen to the day of the week in Italian and try and match the day of the week to the correct word in English. You could support this further by using day of the week fans so that pupils could do their own individual version.
