2. What is Tell Them From Me? Tell Them From Me is an anonymous online perceptual survey. It is a series of questions related to: School Climate Student Voice Safe Schools Student Engagement Mental Well-Being Physical Health

3. What is Tell Them From Me? multiple measures related to over 40 school success factors easily-completed online survey that should take no more than 35-40 minutes to complete results are available by schools and school divisions within 48 hours

4. Why are we doing this? This is an opportunity for students and teachers to give their opinion on things that matter at school. It will help teachers, principals, and School Community Councils identify changes that can improve your school and engage the school community in the effort. The survey was designed by researchers to give the most useful information for determining what needs to get done to improve schools.

5. Why are we doing this? The TTFM surveys can be used to: identify school success factors make evidence-based decisions inform, adjust, and monitor engage teachers, students, and families improve the educational experience of all students

6. Why are we doing this? The results of TTFM will assist schools, school divisions, tribal councils, school community councils, communities and the ministry, in designing and implementing educational initiatives and programming that support improved student learning outcomes for all Saskatchewan students.

11. TTFM Healthy Schools Measures Health Outcomes: Nutrition Physical Fitness Emotional Health: Self Esteem, Anxiety, Depression Risky Behaviours - Tobacco Use, Marijuana Use, Other Drugs, Alcohol, Gambling Sexual Health

12. Why are some questions so personal? The survey does assess a number of personal areas in order to get a fuller picture of the student population. For example: parent education levels happen to be a very good indicator of socio-economic status which is reported for the whole school, not individual students. It helps to give us an idea of the background for the student body at your school.

13. Why the questions on Aboriginal status, immigrant status, and language spoken at home? To help the school hear the voice of these groups, to see if there is something the school should consider doing to improve student outcomes. This is a chance for students to express this directly and openly, without any concerns about whether or not you should say something. We want to know when doing the same thing for everyone isn’t quite the right approach to take.
