4 TOC Navigating to Sections The menu bar on the left side of the screen will take you to specific areas in the document.

5 TOC Navigating to Sections You may also navigate by clicking on the links at the bottom of a page.

6 TOC Navigating with Buttons Some pages have buttons specific to that page that are used for various reasons. For example, navigate to a document associated with the current document.

7 TOC Process Flow Shapes There are diagrams for each process that describe the business flow of a process. The following objects are used in the diagrams: TexDECK Functional Requirements Help File Courthouse photos courtesy of texascourthouses.com. Office of Court Administration The oval shape indicates the beginning and the ending of a process. This shape represents a document, either hard copy or electronic. A rectangle indicates a step in a process. This may be an underlying sub-process. A diamond indicates a question is to be answered either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ and has a path to follow for each answer.

8 TOC Process Business Entities Processes are separated into columns to show the separate responsibilities of the various business entities.

9 TOC Drill-Down Into a Sub-Process Some pages have “drill-down” capability. Each of the higher level processes are numbered hierarchically, for example: In section 1 there are sub-processes that are numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc. Hyperlinks in process diagrams are used to navigate to the more detailed sub-process.

10 TOC Site Map – Table of Contents The site map lists all of the pages in the document. The name of each page is a direct link to that area of the document.

11 TOC Data Dictionary Links The data elements in the Narratives are linked to the description of the element in the Data Dictionary. Click on the link for the data element of choice…

12 TOC Data Dictionary Links …you will be taken to the data element’s description in the Data Dictionary. Click on the back arrow in the browser to return to the Narrative.
