Intro to fossils Do you know what a fossil is? If you don’t you’ve come to the right place! My project is about Fossils! This is me next to a petrified tree.

What are fossils? 1.Dinosaur bones are fossils. 2.Ancient snails can be fossils. 3.Petrified wood are fossils, too. I’m next to a triceratops skeleton.

How Do Fossils Form? Fossils form when sediment and minerals fill the insides of dead plant or animal material. Then the plant or animal gets rock hard.
