2 NETWORKS PROGRAMS & PROJECTS CITYWIDE YOUTH FOOD PROGRAMS AFTER SCHOOL SNACK PROGRAMKEY AWARENESS / EDUCATION PROGRAMS / EVENTS POLICY / ADVOCACY DATA / RESEARCH STAFFED BY SFDPH STAFFED BY DCYF STAFFED BY SUSF PARTNERS SHAPE UP SAN FRANCISCO PRIORITIES: 2012 & BEYOND FOOD SECURITY TASK FORCE PE ASSESSMENT PE FORUM SFUSD STUDENT NUTRITION AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY COMMITTEE SHAPE UP SF COALITION Shape Up SFs focus is in three main areas: 1.Increasing physical activity through Safe Routes to School, PE, and the annual Walking Challenge; 2.Increasing access to healthy food through the Southeast Food Access Working Group, Food Guardians, and Citywide youth food programs; and 3.Decreasing consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages through the regional Rethink Your Drink initiative and related policies.

The website provides a place for members to track their own progress. The team format strengthens support and healthy competition. It also allows people to be recognized and rewarded for healthy behaviors already in place.
