Description/Abstract of Lessons Students will ◦ engage in discussions and activities focusing on skills/characteristics that employers are pursuing when looking for employees (leadership, initiative, teamwork and creative solutions). ◦ discuss the importance/role of these skills/characteristics in pursuing employment/entrepreneurships. Discussion and activities will focus on: ◦ leadership, initiative, teamwork and creative solutions. Discussions and activities will involve: ◦ self-assessment of these skills and methods of practicing these skills

Goals of Lesson: “212 Degrees” Student will ◦ Become acquainted with skills (leadership, initiative, teamwork and creative solutions) important to employers and entrepreneurships. ◦ Become aware of their own employability/entrepreneurship skills (leadership, initiative, teamwork and creative solutions). ◦ Learn methods of practicing employability/entrepreneurship skills (leadership, initiative, teamwork and creative solutions) in areas of their lives: home, school, teams, work. ◦ Explore and use animation websites for presentations that focus on these skills.
