3. Setting The story takes place in a field under a tree. Mr. and Mrs. Fox and the four little foxes live under the tree. There are three farms surrounding the field.

4. Subject Mr. Fox steals geese, chickens, cider and Ducks from the farms around the tree. The farmers notice the missing animals and cider and find out it is the fox. The farms try to kill Mr. Fox, they try to shoot him, trap him and starve him to death. But Mr. Fox has a brilliant idea how to stay alive.
