I was born on February 15 th, 1820 in Adams, Massachusetts. I was a proud Quaker and spent 15 years of my life teaching.

Later in my life, I had met a civil rights lady named Elizabeth Cady Stanton, who helped me become a major roll in civil right movements.

You probably know me for my protests for women to receive the right to vote. I was put on trial for protesting at public voting places and was thrown in jail for months for expressing the way I felt. Anthony’s Statement about women’s voting rights
