2 The Relative Pronoun: qui, quae, quod Cornelia, quae est puella Romana, in Italiā habitat. Cornelia, who is a Roman girl, lives in Italy. Porcus, quem servus ferebat, e manibus effūgit. The pig, which a slave was carrying, fled from his hands. Cisium, quod in fossā haerebat, rotam fractam habuit. The chariot, which was stuck in the ditch, had a broken wheel.

3 Qu- Words The Indefinite Pronoun/Adjective: quidam, quaedam, quoddam Mercator quidam glires in Foro vendebat. A certain merchant was selling dormice in the Forum. Nos servos quosdam in agrīs laborantes vīdimus. We saw some slaves working in the fields. Pueri puellas ramīs quibusdam pulsabant. The boys were striking the girls with some branches.

6 Qu- Words The conjuction: quod Cornelia misera erat, quod Flavia Baiīs manebat. Cornelia was sad, because Flavia was staying in Baiae. Vir iratus erat, quod porcum vitare non poterat. The man was angry, because he was not able to avoid the pig.

7 Qu- Words The exclamatory adverb: quam! Quam laetus te videbo! How happy I am to see you! Quam neglegentes vos estis! How careless you all are!
