6. Qu- Words The conjuction: quod Cornelia misera erat, quod Flavia Baiīs manebat. Cornelia was sad, because Flavia was staying in Baiae. Vir iratus erat, quod porcum vitare non poterat. The man was angry, because he was not able to avoid the pig.

7. Qu- Words The exclamatory adverb: quam! Quam laetus te videbo! How happy I am to see you! Quam neglegentes vos estis! How careless you all are!
