3. Examination Permit-Restricitions  No driving between 11:01 a.m. and 5 a.m.  You must be accompanied by an Adult Supervising Driver (at least 21 years old and licensed to drive for at least 3 years) in the front seat  Only 1 passenger regardless of family affiliation  Must display a color coded decal that represents that the driver is a “GDL” driver  You can't use cell phones, hand held video games or any other hand held electronic device  Seat belts must be worn at all times

4. Probationary License  Complete the supervised driving period (Examination Permit)  Pass MVC's road test road testroad test  No driving between 11:01 a.m. and 5 a.m.  Only 1 passenger regardless of family affiliation  Must display a color coded decal that represents that the driver is a “GDL” driver  You can't use cell phones, hand held video games or any other hand held electronic device  Seat belts must be worn at all times

5. Basic Driver License  You must be at least 18 years old  Complete the Provisional driving period  Go to any MVC Agency with your probationary license and other documents to pass the 6 Point ID and Address Verification 6 Point ID and Address Verification6 Point ID and Address Verification  Pay $24 license fee

6. Adult Road For drivers ages 21 and up, MVC offers a three phase process:  Examination permit  Provisional license (minimum one year of restricted but unsupervised driving)  Basic driver license
