2. In El-Gedarif, the weather is good for plantation of sorghum and wheat. It has heavy rain in summer and autumn. The rest of the year is very dry.

3. In late 1950’s, my father was a manager of a company which sells tractors and other agricultural equipments in El- Gedarif. Also, he managed an attached mechanic repair shop to the tractors and other equipments.

4. I worked in this repair shop for three months after I finished the high school. My job was to keep records of the cost of spare parts and labor for each tractor.

5. This was a good chance for me to learn some of my father’s character.

6. I was expecting the employees to address my father as “Sir” or “Mr.”, but I found them all addressing him “Uncle”. I discovered that my father was treating them as a father treating his children. He was showing them love.

7. He knew every one of his employees in person. He sympathized with their sorrows and shared with them their happy events. He was always there for them. He was well respected and they all felt that he is their real uncle.

8. I remember once, my father bought a new watch for himself. At that time, very few people could afford to buy a watch. My father gave his old good watch to one of the very low income workers. My father was generous and loving to every one.

9. I found that not only the employees who addressed my father “Uncle”, but all clients and church people.

10. I discovered that “LOVE” is one of the main characters of my father.

11. 1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
