3.  He is best known for his remarkable breakthroughs in the causes and preventions of disease. His works rescue us from germs first. It reduced 50% to 3% of death rate. And he had found theory of germs, He was best known to the general public for inventing a method to stop milk and wine from causing sickness.  Germ theory  Pasteur demonstrated that fermentation is caused by the growth of microorganism, for example he saved daily farming with his theory of germs he declared low-temperature ripening.
