1. The Lord gave me a temple

2. to live within on earth.

3. Once in Heaven I was spirit,

4. But I left my home at birth.

5. I’ll make my temple brighter;

6. I’ll keep my spirit free.

7. My body is the temple my Father gave to me.

8. If I keep my body clean and pure and habit-free,

9. I may in Father’s temple claim blessings promised me.

10. On resurrection morning, I’ll take my body bright

11. And in celestial glory forever live in light.
