How I Learned about God from my Parents (3)

 When I was in middle and high school, my father was working in a city called El-Gedarif.  It is in Eastern part of Sudan.  My family stayed in Khartoum, but we used to spent all our school vacation in El-Gedarif.

 In El-Gedarif, there were two Churches, Coptic Orthodox and Evangelic Church.  We used to attend the Coptic Orthodox service on Sunday morning.  We attended the Sunday School of the Evangelic church on Sunday afternoon.

 Every Monday, my father invited the Coptic Orthodox priest and the Evangelic pastor in our house.  That brought the two Church leaders and people together.

 I learned from my father that Orthodox, Evangelic, Baptist and Catholic Churches are serving God.  We can attend and concentrate on God’s word.

 1 Corinthians 3:4-7 4 For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?  5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 6 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

God Bless You Victor Zaki
