2. Mi’raj Night is the twenty-seventh night of the month of Rajab. Mi’raj means ladder. It is the night on which Rasulullah 'sall-Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam' was made to ascend to heavens and was taken to unknown places. Five daily prayers of namaz became a commandment on the Mi’raj night. The first azan was performed in Makka on the night of Mi’raj before the Hegira.

4. He who follows the footsteps of such a noble guide, Will never give his account, even of committed sins. Muhammad (‘alaihi’s-salam) is the pride of both worlds. Let them who’d not be dust of his gate be under ground! Muhammad (’alaihi’s-salam), born in Arabia, He is the dearest here and the Hereafter! Let them be underground, crushed, ruined If not wish being the dust and soil of his door!
