GRU IST - PROVIDERS – Why ? WoSCoP -Satisfaction rate: 78%-91% of respondents positive, (providers of GRU funded project courses : 91%) -+90%: identified a need in AE (transnational studies/ EU policy docu) - 63% : EU dimension more important than financial sustainability 41%: financial loss – 46%: financially sustainable Non-formal training: 22 % financial loss -87%: desire to increase EU outlook or NW - 66%: open up existing courses to EU audiences

-MP leading to IST courses: good channels for transfer of innovation => new products & EU approaches -BUT: only 25 % of IST courses from MP reported financial benefits ( 40 % of providers without GRU MP funding) GRU IST - PROVIDERS – Why ? WoSCoP

Overwhelmingly positive assessment of impact -Stronger European dimension in the organisation (78%) GRU IST - PARTICIPANTS – Institutional level WoSCoP -Increased international networking (74 %) -Openness to other cultures (80%) - New teaching / learning materials (71 %) - More staff to IST abroad more often (58 %)

on operational level in AE sector: GRU IST - PARTICIPANTS – Sectoral level WoSCoP -Especially in countries with less developed ones -eg -museums, prisons, family-school relationships etc

-Has already resulted in a Grundtvig project (BE: 7 %) GRU IST - PARTICIPANTS – Eu cooperation Tilkon Consultancy -Professional contacts with people from other countries: -still in contact: BE : 72 % - Still in contact with trainers: BE: 49 % - Plans to set up GRU activities with people I met (BE: 21 %)

Overall evaluation of Grundtvig IST Highly positive, esp IST structured courses Impact on personal, organisational & sectoral Level: very high. Quality assurance: should be emphasised & encouraged

Overall evaluation of Grundtvig IST * ¾ of respondents expressed high satisfaction about financing, grant amounts and funding conditions. * 58 % very satisfied about present funding model

Future plans WoSCoP 95 % recommend IST participation * 85 % intend to participate in the future 85 % of providers intend to continue GRU IST 9 % uncertain 6 % stop

6 % stop: -Uncertainty of getting funded participants => Enormous need PROBLEMS -Lack of marketing strategies for reaching new target groups
