Self-concept – the view you have yourself Influence – an effect on a person or object Reinforce – support or backs up Self-esteem – a measure of how much you like and respect yourself Resilience – ability to work through and recover from disappointment

Developing a Positive Self - Concept
Focus on your success Accept encouragement, use it to recognize your strength Remember that no one is perfect Turn to people you are close to for help when you need it Avoid worrying about hurtful remarks or looks. Put them behind you and move on
