Our Responses *higher grade more complacency *reflect one’s learning outcomes *help / oppress *eternal knowledge / superficial numbers *face the scores honestly *professors’ different viewpoints

Viewpoints Student A : fairest & fastest way to compare Student B : grades / real knowledge Student C : grade can be just reference Student D : North America Universities’ are also emphasize the importance of grade Student E : the grade system can be better in Taiwan Professor Lee Chia-tung : good grade / exceptional competence

Conclusions *mercy / inequity & not objectivity *grades do have to exist *grades / attitude & concept *grades abstract one’s abilities *improve the system of giving grades
