PDSA – Plan, Do, Study, Act Plan: Who will do the work and when? What equipment or training do they need? How will information for assessing success be collected and recorded? When will progress be reviewed? Do: Do the work according to the plan. Record Observations. Study: Study the information gathered. Was the desired outcome achieved? If not what actually happened? Act: Decide what action is needed; for example: Adopt the change permanently. Abandon the change.
