7 7/9 Note 1: 2-point teaching New: Addition Notes: 1) Output may turn ON/OFF when emission is halted or is released depending on setting of threshold value. 2) Output operation will be undetermined only during the response time. If output signal is received by a PLC or such, set the timer to 20ms amplifier response time or greater. 3) After teaching is complete, output operation will be undetermined only during the response time. If the output signal is received by a PLC or such, set the timer to the amplifier response time or greater. The threshold value will be set based on the incident light intensity at the instant when teaching is verified. 4) Pass the sensing object through once during the time when the external input signal is entered. 5) After teaching is complete, output operation will be undetermined only during the response time. If the output signal is received by a PLC or such, set the timer to the amplifier response time or greater.

8 8/9 Note 2: Incident light intensity test Incident light intensity test: During external input, if the difference between threshold value and incident light intensity is less than half of the shift amount, pulse output (pulse frequency: 100ms) will be generated. E.g. External input setting: test, shift amount: 20% To be used if you would like to check the light intensity margin regularly Due to the use of external input line, Checks can be done by remote operation. If pulse signal output is generated from the sensor which indicates a low light intensity margin, please perform maintenance. 3. Pulse signal output is generated 2.
