Can a church be considered healthy if most of their members are not trusting in God’s grace and forgiveness? Eph 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of members are not growing in their love for God, their knowledge of God’s Word & faithful prayer? 2 Tim 2:15, 1 Thess 5:17

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of the members are not growing in their love for one another? Thess 4:10 And in fact, you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers, to do so more and more.

Can a church be considered healthy if many of the members have unresolved conflicts toward others? Matt 5:23, Matt 18:15ff

Can a church be considered healthy if most of their members are not giving grace and completely forgiving one another? Matt 18:21ff

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of members are not being open and confessing their sins to one another? James 5:16 Confess your sins to one another…

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of Christians are not taking personal responsibility for his own relationship to God and growth in Christ? 2 Tim 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved…

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of the members are unwilling to humble themselves before one another? 1 Peter 4:5 All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of the brothers are struggling with consistent impurity of internet pornography? Eph 5:3 But among you there must not even be a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity…

Can a church be considered healthy if the majority of the members are unwilling to confront sin in one another? Matt 18:15, Gal 6:1

Is a church considered healthy if their members are not speaking the truth in love to one another? Eph 4:15

Is a church considered healthy if the brothers are not making time to bond and really enjoy the company of one another? Heb 3:13 Encourage one another daily…

Can a church be considered healthy if the evangelists/leaders are unwilling to be challenged and called higher by other evangelists/leaders? Or submit to the counsel of others? Gal 2:11, Prov 27:17 As iron sharpens iron…

Can a church be considered healthy if most of the families are not helping most of their children become Christians and be faithful to their commitment to Christ? Eph 6:4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord

Or if the majority of kingdom kids are not wanting to have a marriage like they see in mom & dad? Eph 5

Can a church be considered healthy if there is consistent mistrust of the full-time staff by the many of the members? Thess 5: Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.

Can a church be considered healthy if there is a noticeably inconsistent attendance at the meetings of the Body? Heb 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

Can a church be considered healthy if most of the members seem to treat the worship services more like concerts with mediocre congregational singing? Eph 5:19-20 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord,

Heb 3:12-13 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
