Bo Jackson as a kid Bo Jackson was born on November 30 th 1962 in Bessmer, AL Bo Jackson’s nickname when he was a kid was Boar Hog When he was a kid he was a bully. He would steal other kids bikes, break windows, beat up kids, steal lunch money

Bo Jackson in High School Bo Jackson went to McAdory High School and became a much better kid He played football, baseball and ran track He was always in sports

0ff to College Bo Jackson went to Auburn University and played football, baseball and ran track He did not like the way his coach treated him so one night he thought long and hard if he should stay at Auburn He decided to stayed in college When Bo was a senior at Auburn he won the Heisman trophy (which is given to the best college football player)

After College After college, Bo had an option to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals or play football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Many people thought Bo was better at football than baseball but he picked baseball and a lot of people thought he was crazy

Major League Baseball Bo did not play for the Royals right away He played for the double A team the Memphis Chicks Later in the year he played for the Royals Bo struck out a lot and had trouble hitting with the curveball and he was not a great fielder

Two Sports Bo played baseball but started to miss football He did something that nobody has done before play two sports at once He signed a deal with the L.A. Raiders to be their running back

Bo Gets Hurt When Bo was playing a football game against the Kansas City Chiefs he injured his left hip and had to get an artificial left hip From that day on he could not play football again but his baseball days were not over yet He could not run as fast and could not play outfield so he was the designated hitter (DH) He played for the Chicago White Sox then went to the L.A Angles for a year And retired form baseball
