Re’eh “See” Deuteronomy/Devarim 11:26-16:17 “Being Generous Through Tithes”

Where Are You Looking? Who wants the LORD’s blessings? We receive God’s blessing by obeying His word in our lives.

What Is Generosity? To be generous means to give money or talents to help others. Giving without expecting to get something in return. The Lord wants His people to give a tithe.

Deuteronomy/Devarim 14:22 You shall surely tithe all the produce from what you sow, which comes out of the field every year.

What is a Tithe? A tithe is 10 percent. You give 10 percent and keep the rest to use.

How is the Tithe Used? The tithe is used to help meet the spiritual and physical needs of others. The tithe is used to be generous to others. The tithe is used in many ways to help other people in the Body of Messiah.

Mattityahu/Matthew 6:21-24 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
