Why have an intranet? n Where do you keep all your practice information? n Where do you keep your protocols and audit results? n Is your nurse using the same protocol as you or is hers out of date? n Can you actually put your hand on that piece of paper now? n Who is responsible for collating all this, keeping it up to date and making sure it doesn’t get lost?

Lets make an intranet! Create a new folder on the workstation where you want to keep your intranet

Now the hard bit... Right mouse click …that’s it!

Right mouse click Choose the Sharing... option

Set the properties - sharing Read only or allow write access by all? Click the Shared as option
