The first piece of good news – YES, they can! But what would be the advantages?

For Council Administrators there are some extra functions: Editing Pages Adding events to the calendar Managing email lists of members Sending emails to members all over the world Managing the annual IC Council template

38 IC countries 15 already have their own site 3 of which are based on the current IC council website The others have a single static webpage

ICs with a website? With the new IC portal, ICs can retain their existing sites. Our consultant will liaise with an IT contact nominated by you A simple “page redirect” would be implemented on each site, remotely, so that it was only accessible by going through the main Council portal Admin area set up within the portal for communicating with IC council The IC Council would have opportunity to give world-wide info to all who want to visit the local IC site

Create a website using a template Pages defined by local IC Each page editable by local IC Admin area for communicating with IC council and Members Choice of three designs will be available

Once a template is chosen an IC can create their own site by: Adding their own information Selecting the pages they would like Adding content Text text text text text LOCAL SPONSORS

For the IC administrator there are some extra functions: Emails to members or communicate with the IC council Add events through diary Manage Email Lists Edit the site and submit the annual IC Council template Full training will be given on how to manage your site

Total cost $12000 USD The second piece of good news: The Council will pay the total cost It has already been included in the Council budget

All sites to be converted remotely, by Council consultant – or redesigned if required All countries to change letters, emails (add message) and stationery to show only the new web address ICs to collect members’ email addresses for inclusion on each of their sites (these will be collected for the Council site) - data protection allowing?
