Investigate the future viability of enabling PACs to act as “download kiosks” while addressing: a)Patron privacy b)Protecting the machines from malware All system changes are discarded after each reboot This enables us to allow patrons and/or staff to install software EnvisionWare would be configured to reboot between sessions Deep Freeze

Pilot at Oakmont underway, starting with one public PC and one shared staff PC Windows 7 will be deployed remotely to existing PCs New version of the EnvisionWare PC Reservation Client required Deep Freeze will be installed Windows 7 Pilot
