3 Kingsbury Middle School is a Title I School. Which means we receive federal funds to ensure that our school is ran appropriately. Title I is a part of the No child left Behind Act, which requires that schools provide high quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment. *All parents should have received a packet that includes KMS’s Title I Notification-Parents Right to Know- and Family Engagement Plan

4  AYP is defined as a school’s expected level of growth for a given school year. This number is assigned by the Department of Education. Unfortunately, we have been identified as a High Priority School this year. This is not because our test scores dropped, but because they stayed the same overall.  However, we are COMMITTED to ensuring that we provide the students with the necessary support to make ACADEMIC GAINS.

5 Family Engagement Plan was developed to partner with families in an effort to provide Kingsbury’s students with a home-school-community environment that helps children achieve academic excellence.
