Critical and growing because of conflict and forceful displacement of people. In the East and Horn of Africa alone, UNHCR reckons that about 1.8 million refugees and more than 3M IDPs (include 340,000 in Dadaab) 11M people of concern in Africa in 2014, including stateless people and returnees.

Kenya is largest refugee hosting country in Africa, followed by Chad and Ethiopia. Largest single refugee camp in Northern Kenya comprises 350,000 Somali refugees, as many as you have in Ethiopia. Somalia, DRC, Sudan, South Sudan, CAR and Eritrea contribute largely to the increasing population of people of concern

Practice of religion and teachings of Jesus on plight of refugees (Matt. 25: 31-40): Mobilize Prayer and Care Lead Agency for care and coordination services to refugees in camps Counseling and Trauma healing AEA partnership with RHP to coordinate work of churches and other NGOs

Advocacy- speaking out against anti- immigrant attitudes Advocating for the rights of refugees and immigrants Learn more about refugee and immigration issues Resettle refugees in our communities Addressing root causes of humanity vulnerability (Sin and salvation)
