1. In 2006 John Ortmann created a stunning virtual model of LM-5. It was such an inspiration that I decided I should try to build a real model with the same amount of details. Here I am, in 2011, the lunar module is done after 4.5 years of work. It was made with passion and the support of hundreds of individuals on the web fora such as the spacemodelers group, the forum de la conquête spatiale or the forum des maquettes spatiales. Some individuals need to be cited here as they provided me with insight information and material on the lunar module, in alphabetical order : Paul Cultrera, Karl Dodenhoff, Paul Fjeld, Jim Key and John Ortmann who passed away in June 2009 and to whom this model is dedicated.
