Friends / Peer group – childhood thru teenage years. Am. teens spend over 50% of their time with peers. Influence can be + or -.
Culture – each culture places different value on different traits.

4. Which has more influence?
Neither! Personality is influenced by both.
The environment can determine what will “set off” those things we are genetically inclined towards.
