1. ESL/SPED TEACHER

2.  I graduated from Texas A & M Commerce in May of 2006 with Bachelor of Science Degree.  I am certified to teach  Early Childhood  Grades K-8  Special Education EC-12  English as a Second Language EC-12

3.  I have worked in Avalon School District since August 2006.  I began as a Kindergarten teacher.  In 2007 I began teaching Special Education.  I taught a Speical Education Life Skills class for five years.  This year I am happy to begin teaching Elementary Special Education and Elementary English as a Second Language.  I hope to teach in Avalon until I retire (many years down the road.

4.  I worked in the Mildred School District as an Instructional Aide in a special education class while I was attending college.  I also worked in a group home for adults with special needs while attending college.  I have day care and baby sitting experience as well.  So to ease your mind about your child having a new teacher this year, I have been doing this for a while.

5.  I live in Rice currently.  I am planning to move back to Ennis sometime this year.  I have a second job – I am going to be working at the State Fair this year on weekends.  I do not have any children, only one very small puppy named Xylee.  I go to New Hope Church in Ennis.  I love my job and I love the kids!!!!
