Enrolling in a Course Click on the Courses Tab

Follow the instructions on the Educator Strand Instructions: Enroll In Online Course handout. Enrolling in a Course

Navigation Area Course Information: General information about the course. Staff Information: General information about course instructor(s). Assignments:Course assignments. Communication:Communication tools used in the course. Discussion Board: Links to discussion boards. Tools:Tools needed to submit information to your instructor.

Sending E-mail From the Navigation Area, click Communication and then Send E-Mail.

Sending E-mail Click the link corresponding to the intended e-mail recipients.

Complete steps 1-5. Key the subject and the message. Click “Submit”

Assignments Click on the Assignment button on the Navigation bar.

Discussion Board From the Navigation Area, click Discussion Board.

Participating in a Forum Click on the name of the forum within which you would like to participate.

Reading/Replying to a Thread Click title of thread.

Change Subject Line Delete this subject and key in your descriptive title.

Key your message here. Click Submit to post your message. Reading/Replying to a Thread

Expand All/Collapse All When replies are posted to a thread you have the ability to view all of the threads by clicking Expand All (+) or you can close (hide) all threads added under the original thread by clicking Collapse All (-).

Searching Within a Forum Click the Search link Key the appropriate search criteria Click the Search button

View Student Roster From the Navigation buttons, click Communication,then Roster

View Student Roster You can search for student names, get alphabetical listing, or list all by choosing tabs.

Student Drop Box Click on Tools, then on Digital Drop Box

Click “Send File” Student Drop Box

Enter a descriptive title Browse to find the file on your computer Add any comments you’d like, and click “Submit” Student Drop Box
