Increased demand along 400 N. and 500 W. (US 89) has resulted in this intersection having a poor LOS, three of the eight movements currently operating at an LOS F. Adding dedicated right turn lanes in the east bound and north bound directions will improve the LOS to at least LOS D.

4 FARR WEST – Variable Message Sign Project Type - Operations Install Variable Message Sign Project Cost – $ 328,000 Funds Request – $ 302,000 Install Variable Message Sign northbound I-15 (about Farr West) that would be used to alert traveling motorists of roadway conditions on I-15 and I-84 to the Utah/Idaho border.

5 OGDEN CITY – Monroe/North Street Signal Project Type - Intersection Intersection @ Monroe Blvd. and North Street Project Cost – $ 1,289,357 Funds Request – $ 1,085,000 Presently a 4 way stop, the intersection creates undo delay and is operating less efficiently compared to a signalized intersection. Current LOS is B/C. The project would add turn lanes to the west leg and increase (or define) the corner radii to suit large vehicle turning movements. AADT is expected to increase once Monroe is connected to 1700 North in North Ogden; once that occurs, North Street will be the next signalized collector to Washington/Wall/Harrisville south of 1700 North.
